Hello,
I encounter a strange problem I really don't understand. I created a model with texture well displayed in Sketchup and when I render it textures are simply replaced by colors.
When I edit material in iRender nXt, texture is not present, just the base color !
I tried to reinstal iRender (last version), libraries. Nothing. Is there a parameter I don't know which could prevent Sketchup maybe, to transfer textures to iRender ?
What happens?
Regards,
Alain

On the left the model in sketchup, on the right the image I get in iRender nXt !!!

Sorry, don't know why this thread is duplicated.
This problem of invisible model is solved. It was caused by a section plane. Didn't remember that feature.
Back to texture problem now.

Alain

Hi Alain
Have you removed source of materials when modeling ? For example if you have your textures on USB stick then remove USB stick before rendering or during the NXT may not have correct reference - I have done it a few times on overnight renders.

Hi Boothy
No it's all on my HD.
It's a bit difficult to follow as I made a mistake and posted both the same thread.
Well, I got it working just few minutes ago and now I encounter agin the same problem; no hdri image and no more textures !?!
About the previous problem (section plane; Is it normal to have an inactive section plane in Sketchup so, no section and the same section plane active in iRender?

In previous versions, not so old, there was an option to decide how to deal with sides and to choose to process only exterior textures, interiors, both.
How is it managed now? I don't find this option any more.

About my texture problem, in the followinf image, on the left the material editor in Sketchup and on the right in iRender
Thanks Richcat for these infos.
I'm back to my texture problem. I found the problem comes from the trees made with RpTreeMaker.
I remove all trees and got the textures back.
So I'm adding trees one by one and wait to see if the problem comes at a definite number of trees or, never .... !?!
I'll let you know.
PS: I running iRender with Sketchup running on a 8Gb DELL M6500 laptop. I don't think the problem could come from the sketchup footprint but....
Regards,
Alain
Ok, well welcome it the IT mysteries, I removed all trees then added 11 trees, same as before, more or less, and no problems with textures !?!
Sorry.
