  • Did you have to install anything which was not included in our installation?

And/or did you install our version JJ04?

    Hi Rich

Both editors seem to load OK now - thanks

I have not yet tried anything else

Both my machines are 64 bit so I had to install the studio 2010 exe which seemed ok

  • We uploaded a new install, JJ04, with the proper nXt Editors for the latest nXt Toolkit.

    nXtPlantEditor.exe
    nXtMaterialEditor.exe
    nXtImageEditor.exe

    will all work again.

The 64 bit versions of the editors will not work unless you have, at sometime, intalled the Visual Studio 2010 redistributables for x64 on your machine. Since we are not currently using the 64 bit versions of these apps in IRender nXt, we are not running the 2010 x64 redist during the install. However, we did include the redistributable in the install, in the redist folder as "vcredist_vs2010_x64.exe". You can execute it if you need to run these 64 bit editors.
  • Hi Boothy

I see you got the shortcuts working in around about way.
If it heIps I've been down loading the Accurender program installing that but no full ACAD, and using that a shorts cuts, they have a newer file stamp but don't know if they are really any different. Not because the Irender ones weren't working just being nosey what the ACAd version do ;-). Saves all that un-installing and reinstalling your doing.

  • There you go

  • I meant nXtMaterialEditor.exe
  • The material editor runs ok when starting from NXT in SU but when selected separately in folder the following panel appears

As a control - the material editor opens directly OK in copied NXT beta folder discussed in previous post
  • Can you see if nXtMaterialEditor.exe is working?

We may have left out a DLL.
