After upgrading to version IRender_3_JJ06nxt I receive the following message while trying to open an editor:

'This application has failed to start because MSVCR100.dll was not found. Re-installing the application my fix this problem.'

Alas it did not.

The mentioned 'dll' file is well present in the nXtRender folder, as well as elswere (system32, etc).

I would appreciate any helpful clue to fix the problem.

  • The vs 2010 worked fine for me on my win 7 64 bit machine
    Boothy
  • I just tried this myself, on a 64 bit Windows 7 machine I just rebuilt.

Installed SketchUp and IRender nXt, version JJ06.

I clicked on the nXtImageEditor64.exe and got the same error message that you did.

I clicked on vcredist_vs2010_x64.exe in our redist folder and installed that.

I went back and clicked on nXtImageEditor64.exe and it ran OK.

    So I'm stumped.
  • Thank you,

I am afraid it does not work. Same error message after vcredist_vs2010_x64.exe installation.
  • The 64 bit versions of the nXt editors will not work unless you have, at sometime, intalled the Visual Studio 2010 redistributables for x64 on your machine. Since we are not currently using the 64 bit versions of these apps in IRender nXt, we are not running the 2010 x64 redist during the install. However, we did include the redistributable in the install, in the redist folder as "vcredist_vs2010_x64.exe". You can execute it if you need to run these 64 bit editors.
