I am working on a rendering which has a .jpg image imported into sketchup. The quality within sketchup is normal, but when rendered with nxt renderer, it loses about 65% of the lines, creating a poor rendering of the .jpg. The actual Sketchup model looks fantastic, but the jpg image is poor. Is there a setting that can correct this, or am I just out of luck?

The first image is exported out of sketchup, the second is rendered with IRender.

It might be the setting for "Max. texture size" is causing the image to be set to a lower resolution.

Try setting that to 0.

If that's not it, can you send me the model to try?

rich.hart@renderplus.com, if it's not too large. Otherwise, please go to this page:

and follow the instructions, to send us a large file.

Rich, that worked perfectly. Thank you for showing me the light. IRender can do absolutely amazing things!

Great!

The "Max. texture size" was meant to keep textures small for rendering speed and problems that we used to have rendering very large models.
