Hi,

I though that choosing channel 0 (for default) automatically set ceiling lamps to channel 3, bulbs to channel 2, for other, and glow to channel 4.

According to my tests, that's seem not so sure.

what is this default channel 0?

Setting the channel for any light to 0 means to use the default channel for that light type. You would only set it something else if you wanted to have more choices - e.g. All ceiling lights except one in the default channel, and 1 in a different channel.

However, note that you also have to specify how many lighting channels to use. Even if ceiling lamps are in Channel 3, they will only work if you render with 4 or more channels. (We would always render with more channels - however it takes more memory and a little more time to use multiple channels)

I'm going to make more tests to see what was my mistake.

regards,

If you still have problems, send us a small model and we can check the settings and try it here.
