I don't think you can just embed the U3D file in an HTML page.

You have to have some sort of plugin to display the U3D model, so when you use the HTML output selection, we make a PDF that only contains the U3D and embed that on the HTML page.

Has anyone else found a way to simple embed a u3D file in a web page?

RPS 3D PDF has an option to create a HTML file with the PDF already embedded into it.

To make this sample, I unchecked 'Page Data', selected HTML format, set the page size to 4" x 5", and clicked 'Create HTML'.

I then edited the .HTM file to add comments above and below the PDF image to the HTML directly.

You can see the final page at:Embedded 3D PDF Sample
