1) ... compatible with SketchUp (freeware) 8.0 and 7.0 ?

Yes

2) ... convert pasted pictures on SketchUp buildings accurately without distortion?

Yes

3) ... allow movement through and around the model?

Yes

4) ... allow for the new file to be sent to a client, and if so, can they open and navigate the model "as-is" or does the client need to download or have access to RPS RD PDF ?

Yes

5) ... once a SkUp file has been converted into RPS RD PDF can parts of the model (buildings) have information attached to them activated or made visible by pointing to the building ?

No

6) ... allow web links embedded into the 3D PDF file ?

No

7) ... allow use in a blog or webpage ?

Yes

One last clarification - qst 5) regarding someone viewing the model - is the model a stand alone data file that can be viewed without the RPS3D PDF program?

I'm guessing yes as you have indicated that I can post it to a blog or a website.

It creates a stand-alone PDF file. We create a U3D file of the model and put that in a PDF file. you don't need RPS 3D PDF to see it, just a web browser with Acrobat Reader installed.

The PDF can embedded in an HTML page, so that it can be posted on a website. We have users who do that.

There is a mode in the program that automatically creates an HTML page with the model embedded (as a PDF file), or you can just embed it in a web page yourself.
