New version posted. LB103 - February 10, 2012

In this version, we:

  • Fixed a 3D Data Parsing error message that was appearing for Acrobat Reader 10.1.2 when the PDF page was opened in Acrobat Reader. The PDF file still opened and worked properly, but the error message indicated that there was a problem with it.

With regards to the Error Message that we were seeing, I received this email from an Acrobat representative:

"I could reproduce the problem at my end and have reported the same to the engineering team who will now be working on it.

We shall hopefully have the issue resolved with future updates."

So perhaps they will be able to fix it on their end soon, so that the error message will not display for older PDFs. Otherwise, the PDFs will have to be remade with this new version.

New version posted. July 26, 2012 - LG26p

This version should be treated as a beta release of the new features below.

If you are interested in trying the new features, please download and try this release and let us know if they work properly for you

In this version, we:

  • Started using Rich Text boxes to replace the Heading, Intro, Body and Trailer text sections, so that more text fonts, colors, justification and styles could be used for the PDF files. The text is edited in a Wordpad type window, so that you can create more complex PDF files. Only text is returned from the editor at this time. Images and other objects will be ignored.
  • Added support for the SketchUp Section Plane. We will apply the first visible section plane to the 3D Model in the PDF file.
  • Allow users to the set the Application field for the PDF document properties.
  • Add an Option Tab for Project Defaults, which will now be used as a settings template for new models. Other projects settings can still be loaded using the Load Styles button.

New version posted. July 27, 2012 - LG27p

  • Fixed support for Section Planes, which was accidentally not enabled in last release.
