I am a second year architectural student and my project is to build a brick house then 3d print it. Could you direct me to tutorial that would explain how to texture the walls so that the model would have the look and feel of real brick. Would texture stamping be the correct term for this technique?

1. You can apply a brick texture in SketchUp and use it for rendering.

2. You can apply Auto Bump to the texture to give it more of a 3D feel.

See: http://www.renderplus.com/wp2/wk/Automatic_Bump_Maps.htm

3. You can use one of the brick patterns in our Material Library.

Note: For 3D Printing, you will have to add geometry to SketchUp for the 3D effect of the brick. If you need help with that, you should post something on the SketchUcCation forum: SketchuCation Forum
