What version of ArielVision?
Hi Rich---the sketchup version is 2014 and the arielvision was downloaded yesterday. Thanks!
Mark
Please look to see where your SketchUp 2014 plugins folder is by typing:
Sketchup.find_support_file('Plugins')
into the SketchUp Ruby Console window and then clicking clicking "Enter". You can just copy and paste the text above to avoid typos.
I see:
C:/Users/rich/AppData/Roaming/SketchUp/SketchUp 2014/SketchUp/Plugins
Notice that the path tp my SketchUp 2014 plugins folder has "rich" in it, since that is my User name. Yoiu should see:
C:/Users/[Your User Name]/AppData/Roaming/SketchUp/SketchUp 2014/SketchUp/Plugins
Looking in your plugins folder in the Windows File Explorer, you should see the file "RPS_ArielVision.rb" and a folder called "RPS_ArielVision".
f those are there, then we installed into the right place for SketchUp 2014.
If it is installed in the right folder correctly, please type in:
load 'RPS_ArielVision/RPS_ArielVision2.rb'
into the Ruby Console window and click "Enter"..
Hopefully either ArielVision will load, or that text will give us a clue.
The Ruby console yielded:
C:/Documents and Settings/pmt/Application Data/SketchUp/SketchUp 2014/SketchUp/Plugins
which when then yielded the plug in folder but nothing in the folder referred to Arielvision.
Could you try reinstalling ArielVision, by right clicking on the installation file when logged in as "pmt" and selecting Run as Administrator", and see if the location where we are installing ArielVision for SketchUp 2014 is the same as your SketchUp 2014 plugins folder?
I see:
We truncate the last couple of sub-folders in the path to fit it on the dialog, but it needs to match "C:/Documents and Settings/pmt/Application Data/SketchUp/SketchUp 2014" for you.
