Testing New Beta Version
Jan 11, 2011
We are making the new Beta Test version available only to Beta Testers until we get some feedback and are able to stabilize it better.
Use this new Beta if you want to test the new Render Farm, or want to try the new nXtImage editor.
Otherwise, just use the stable version.
You can download this Beta Version from: Downloads
This has a couple of interesting features:
We have combined the IRender nXt Post Processing and the nXtImage Post Processing into a single interface.
Try this out and let us know what you think.
Rich has interfaced the new Render Farm.

Let me know if you get a chance to test it. There are still a few rough spots, and thanks for "volunteering" to be our guinea pig for this.

Strange, download is done from http://www.mediafire.com/file/k1sm15wch993svv/IRender_3_KA28nxt.zip.
But clicking on Download doesn't start it (with firefox 3.6) and if I use "Save to.." I get a 0 bytes archive.
I'm going to use I.E. to see. Same with IE !?!

I can download it, both the Beta and the new Stable posting.

We posted a new Beta, KA28, with these fixes:
- Fixed some bugs we found in the nXtImage editor affecting material channels
- Fixed a problem with the "Add to Model" button in the Select Material to Place or Edit dialog
- Fixed the install to warn the user if a reboot is necessary after the install
We have also placed this same version as the new Stable download.
It download and opens for me on 2 machines here, with IE, FireFox and Google Chrome.
Is anyone else having trouble downloading this file?
Alan, I can just send you the file if you'd like.

Hi Rich,
Sorry for the time shifting ;)
It's ok for me today !?!
Thanks,
KB03 - 2/3/2011
We uploaded a new version, KB03, of both the Stable and Beta releases to fix a problem with RPC object rendering when running on a 64 bit machine.
We also added a checkbox to the support dialog, to switch to 32 bit rendering if you encounter another issue with the 64 bit batch renderer.
KB04 - 2/4/2011
We uploaded a new version, KB04, of both the Stable and Beta releases to fix a problem with animations when running on a 64 bit machine.
We also removed most of the toolbar buttons on the animation rendering dialog that should not be used when animations are rendering. We left the Options button on the toolbar, but even it should not be used to change options during an animation, only to query the settings.
KB07 - 2/7/2011
We uploaded a new version, KB07, of both the Stable and Beta releases to fix a problem when using the Reset button on the Tone Operator dialog, when not editing a nXtImage.
KB09 - 2/9/2011
We uploaded a new version, KB09, of both the Stable and Beta releases to fix a problem where an erroneous black line was being drawn at the top of the Render Wind
